WebVR is an exciting new technology that allows developers to create VR experiences that anyone can use as long as they have a browser with internet access. During this workshop, we will show you how to use HTML code and a software framework called A-Frame to create 360-degree tours that work on desktops, on mobile phones, and in VR headsets. If you would like to participate in the workshop portion, you will need a mobile phone with Google Street View installed to take 360-degree photos and a laptop with an internet browser to update the code with your photos. The topic of 360-degree tours works well for teaching VR to newcomers, and can also be a good introduction to web development. You do not need coding experience to participate in this workshop.
