Population: 14,000—Pima (Akimel O’odham) & Maricopa (Xalychidom Pipaash)
Size: 372,000 acres
Industry: Industrial parks including Lone Butte, which is nationally acclaimed as one of the most successful Indian industrial parks in the U.S., agriculture, recreation. Sacaton was the birthplace of Pima cotton, though the tribe did not develop it.
